Who the audit is for
Big tools show you a lot of data. Citeora shows you what to fix first.
Big SEO tools often have a wider scope, but they don't always give a small business owner a clear answer about what to fix first.
Citeora creates a clear SEO audit in Slovak, Czech and English. The report isn't cluttered with useless tables — it shows the main technical issues, explains them in plain language and helps you prioritize.
The result is usable both by the website owner and by the developer who has to make the fixes.
Scanning 40+ technical SEO signals.
A quick overview of how many findings are critical, warnings, and informational.
Shows at a glance how much work is high, medium, and lower priority.

The main form runs a full-site audit (full crawl). Enter a URL above and the MAX audit will go through internal pages, recurring errors, PageSpeed, and fix priorities.
We fetch the HTML of the URL you enter, parse 40+ technical signals from it (meta tags, headings, canonical, broken links, Core Web Vitals, structured data…), and in parallel check robots.txt, sitemap and URL variants (http/https, www/non-www, trailing slash). This is a fast single-URL audit — we don't crawl subpages in full, we only check links and signals on this specific page.
No. We extract only small structured signals from the HTML (e.g. "title is 47 characters long"), then discard the HTML. The cache holds only these signals and expires after 30 minutes. No content from your page ever leaves our server.
The most common silent SEO killer: a page responds on 4 versions (http/https × www/non-www) without a 301 redirect, canonical says one thing, sitemap says another, internal links say a third. Google picks a version on its own — and often the wrong one. We detect this and tell you exactly what to fix.
Yes. An 8s timeout per request, max 3 MB downloaded, max 8 redirects, we block private IP addresses and internal networks. The audit won't harm the target page.
No — for security reasons we only audit publicly available URLs.
Google measures LCP (main content load), CLS (layout stability) and INP (interaction responsiveness). These metrics directly affect ranking. Our audit measures them via the Google PageSpeed Insights API and shows which values are in the red or orange zone.
Internal links that lead to non-existent pages (HTTP 404 or 500). Google treats them as a sign of a low-quality website and stops crawling such sections. Our audit tests every internal link on the page.
Citeora SEO & AI Check is a lightweight Chrome/Edge extension that runs a quick local check of the currently open page directly in the browser. This technical version isn't distributed via the Chrome Web Store — it's meant for users who can load it manually via Developer mode.
chrome://extensions/.
The extension runs locally in the browser. It doesn't send the current page's content to the Citeora server. When checking files like /robots.txt, /sitemap.xml, or /llms.txt, the browser may access the checked website directly.
Citeora is currently in free beta: complete PRO audits (SEO, GEO and accessibility) and the Developer Handoff are free to use, with no sign-up and no subscription. Ordinary fair-use limits on concurrent audits still apply. The beta is temporary — we'll give notice before that changes.
